November 10, 2025 / Robert S. Hyer Elementary School

Dear Hyer Families,

As we recognize Veteran's Day tomorrow, the Hyer Staff and I want to take a moment to express our heartfelt gratitude to all the veterans in our community. Our school is deeply grateful for the sacrifices and service of the men and women who have served in the armed forces, ensuring the freedoms and safety we hold dear.

To all the veterans, thank you for your courage, dedication, and commitment. Your contributions have had a lasting impact on our country, and we are grateful for the service of all of those who have served in the military and our first responders.

A reminder to 1st and 3rd grade families that CogAT testing begins today; students will be testing today through Wednesday. You will be notified in a few weeks when scores are available.

Have an incredible week!

Respectfully,

Debbie

AUCTION THANK YOUS!

WOW, Hyer...what an unforgettable night!

From the moment guests arrived at Marie Gabrielle for our Hyer Honky Tonk, the energy was electric and the spirit of Hyer was on full display. The weather was perfect, the venue was beautiful, and the garden was transformed into a full-blown honky tonk thanks to our incredible Décor Chairs, who truly knocked it out of the park!

And what a show — Straight Tequila Night had the dance floor packed until the very end, keeping the party going and the crowd singing along to every song. It was the perfect finale to an evening filled with community, generosity, and pure Hyer pride.

Because of your overwhelming support, this was our most successful auction yet! Every dollar raised goes directly toward enriching classroom programs, supporting our teachers, and enhancing the Hyer experience for every student. Thank you to our insanely amazing Solicitations and Live Committees for securing all the fantastic goodies that made bidding fun, exciting, and downright irresistible!

We are so grateful for our amazing sponsors, committee, and Hyer families who made this night possible. Your dedication, time, and generosity continue to make Hyer such a special place.

From the bottom of our hearts — thank you for showing up, giving big, and celebrating a cause near and dear to us all: our kids! 💙

With love and gratitude,

Julie, Stephanie, & Whitney
