Hyer Families,
I hope you all have had an incredible weekend! I want to give a shout out to our Dads Club and all their volunteers for the time they spend on carpool duty each week. Wynn Radford, Dads Club President, has done a fabulous job bringing our dads together, and overseeing each activity and event. Our carpool volunteers bring positive energy and welcoming smiles early each morning to greet our students as they arrive at school. Show our Dads Club some love with a high-five next time you see them in the queue lane. Additionally, our amazing Dads Club provided a delicious breakfast bar for the Hyer Staff Friday morning. We had a variety of items from Chic-Fil-A and Sugar & Sage that were delicious and filled our little bellies.
Attached you will find a copy of the State of Texas 2022-23 School Report Card for Hyer Elementary. This report is required by the Texas Legislature and prepared by the Texas Education Agency. It is sent to the family of every child enrolled in a Texas public school. The report provides information concerning student performance on the State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness (STAAR), College, Career, and Military Readiness, as well as information on student enrollment, class size averages, and financial expenditures. Due to judicial proceedings, the release of the 2023 School Report Card was significantly delayed. Alongside our 2023 School Report Card, we encourage you to visit TXschools.gov to learn more about our school's performance in the 2024-25 school year. Please contact me if you have any questions concerning this report card. Thank you for your continued support of our beloved school.
Sincerely,
Debbie
