Sneak Peek at Fall’s Cast Polymer Connection
Coming in your inboxes this fall is an issue devoted to covering what is happening in the nation’s capital that may affect cast polymer businesses as well as addressing several technical issues that affect processes in our plants. Planned for the issue are:
· An update on styrene issues addresses pending changes in limits for workplace exposure and addresses how we got to where we are and what may happen.
· An article on the importance of temperature and measurement to the cast polymer fabrication process explains what is involved and what it means.
· An Ask the Expert column addresses what gel coat prelease is and what can be done to minimize it.
The issue continues ICPA coverage of COVID-19 issues with these two important articles:
· An issue advising cast polymer companies on what they can do to prevent possible OSHA citations through policy writing and proper procedures in reopening and prevention.
· A feature advises how companies can pivot their processes and the way they operate and market themselves so they are positioned for success in the new world.
The issue also spotlights ICPA member Bradley Corporation, a company that is about to celebrate 100 years of success.
