ILS Chair's News & Notes

Dear friends and colleagues:

Today is your last chance to RSVP for tomorrow’s Lunch and Learn featuring Judge Adalberto Jordan from the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals, hosted and sponsored by Sequor Law in Brickell, Miami. Reach out to Whitney Jobson (wjobson@floridabar.org) if you’d like to attend.

As you know, the Holidays are a time of giving, and in the past years, the International Law Section has collected toys for Americans for Immigrant Justice (AJI) to distribute to immigrant children at their holiday party. Founded in 1996, AJI is committed to promoting and protecting the basic human rights of immigrants, including unaccompanied children and survivors of trafficking and domestic violence. We hope to continue supporting AJI’s efforts this year. AJI has asked that those wishing to contribute purchase a gift/toy directly from the children’s Amazon Wishlist, here:

As a reminder, our holiday party will be on December 11th at the River Oyster Bar in Miami (more details below).

Excited to see some of you in Orlando tomorrow!

Un abrazo,
