Dear ILS Members and Friends:
This past week, I had the pleasure of visiting Tampa to attend the Synapse Summit, a spectacular technology and innovation conference. While there, I also enjoyed connecting with colleagues at Buchanan’s local office, clients and friends, and attending the Hispanic National Bar Association (HNBA) Regional Reception. It was a busy, but rewarding week of networking, relationship building and collaboration. I was impressed by the tremendous growth that Tampa is experiencing, including the number of companies that have relocated there recently. The city is also growing culturally and internationally, which is fantastic!
Over the past several months, especially during our iLaw2024 Conference, we’ve focused on collaboration as a key theme for our Section this year. While we often think of this collaboration in the context of our colleagues from Foreign Bars around the world, let’s remember there are opportunities to collaborate with international lawyers in various cities within our own home state of Florida, including Tampa, Orlando, Gainesville, Jacksonville and Tallahassee.
