The International Law Section Gazette | |
Dear ILS,
It’s hard to believe we’re already in April and planning for the next year of ILS greatness. As many of you know, The Florida Bar’s fiscal year and, by extension, the ILS’s Executive Board and Executive Council positions run from July 1 to June 30. Don’t worry, this year is not over yet – we still have CLEs, a Lunch & Learn, an ILQ, and other programming in the works before our Annual Meeting on June 27 at The Boca Raton Hotel. Make sure to check the calendar of events in the Gazette and on our website weekly for updates!
But legacy planning is key, and, to that end, we are now accepting nominations for the ILS Vice-Treasurer position of the Executive Board.
Additionally, we want to support and foster the next generation of ILS leadership. Please let us know if you’re ready to get more involved and take on a leading role within the ILS. This is an important steppingstone for getting on the ILS Executive Board in the future. It may involve chairing a committee, spearheading a special project, or taking on a leading role with the Bar generally. There is work to be done, and we invite you to join us!
Please submit your statement(s) of interest by May 5 to me via email (abarton@reedsmith.com).
Have a great week!
