The International Law Section Gazette | |
Dear ILS,
Due to unexpected circumstances, last week’s CLE webinar and our Lunch & Learn with Al Lindsay had to be rescheduled last minute – it was just one of those weeks! We look forward to rescheduling Al Lindsay’s interview later this year.
But, changed plans are simply new opportunities, and thanks to our gracious Lunch & Learn host Fiduciary Trust International, we are still able to have a fourth Lunch & Learn session before the summer hiatus. Please join us on Wednesday, June 11 to hear from Past ILS Chair Eduardo “Eddie” Palmer, who will be interviewed by Past ILS Chair Jacqueline Villalba. Anyone who has had the privilege of meeting Eddie instantly knows that he is a special person with a captivating personal story. He is a seasoned litigator with over 30 years of experience in both the private and public sectors, specializing in complex commercial litigation, international arbitration, and white-collar criminal defense. We hope you can join us on June 11!
I’d also like to share with our members that the New York City Bar is having its first-ever Latin American Summit on June 10 and June 11 in New York City. You can learn more about this exciting event here and further below. The Latin American Summit will offer two days of panels for those who are interested in learning about what is happening in Mexico and Latin America from practitioners, in-house counsel, scholars, and diplomats on a wide range of topics as well as unique networking opportunities.
Have a great week!
