Dear ILS Members,
As we begin the summer months, many of us will be enjoying some well-deserved vacations and staycations. It’s so important for us to rest, relax and recover during this time. But it is also a great time to reflect and plan for the remainder of the year.
For the ILS Board, Executive Council and Committees, we’re just warming up (excuse the pun) and planning for the ILS term. As you know, we’re a very active Section, so this includes planning our iLaw conference, programs, events, publications, etc. In this Gazette, we’re highlighting our ILS Committees and Chairs that are actively planning and leading these important activities and initiatives. I encourage all of you to please review the ILS Committee List, consider which Committees interest you, and reach out to the appropriate Chairs to ask questions, express your interest and get involved! We are blessed to have fantastic international lawyers and leaders as Committee Chairs who are doing extraordinary work for the Section. This is a great opportunity to increase your knowledge, expand your network, engage in leadership and more importantly, have some fun!
I look forward to learning more about your ILS involvement, collaborating with each of you and the ILS Committees, and celebrating our Section achievements this term. I know together, we will do so much.
