A Message of Thanks

IPN salutes the hard work and dedication being witnessed in all Idaho communities by those of you who help and care for the patients of payors we represent. It is humbling to see the sacrifices, initiative and collaboration that rises out of tragedy like the COVID-19 pandemic.
IPN stands beside our provider partners today in support of doing what is necessary to ensure people have the access to care they need. And we will stand beside you when the dust settles on this unprecedented event to help create a "new normal."
COVID-19 Impact

Change has been required worldwide and as IPN adapts, our overall goal to support providers remains firm. Here's a little of what we've been up to:
  • All IPN employees are working remotely, complying with Idaho's Stay At Home order and practicing social distancing but we remain available by telephone, fax or email during our regular business hours of 8am-5pm, MST.
  • IPN offices in Boise and Idaho Falls are closed to visitors until further notice.
  • Mail sent to our physical address or PO Box will be retrieved and processed on at least a weekly basis.
  • Most importantly, a conditional effective date is being applied to new network credentialing applications according to conditions outlined here in an effort to expedite patient access to in-network care.
IPN will report additional COVID-19 information as needed in the
Announcements  section of our website, in next month's Provider eConnection Newsletter or by an email news blast.
COVID-19 Notices from our Partners

TRICARE:   visit

VyStream"VyStream's leadership is closely monitoring the situation regarding COVID-19 and maintaining an open line of communication with our clients, partners and workforce. VyStream does NOT outsource any of our workforce. For those claims requiring manual intervention this is seamlessly handled by employees who have full capability to work in the office or in a dedicated remote HIPAA-compliant setting, accessed over VPN."
Idaho Health Care Conference

After much consideration, the IHCC committee has decided to cancel the Idaho Health Care Conferences for 2020. We remain focused on providing FREE education and plan to continue our workshops in May of 2021.

Stay healthy and we hope to see you next year!
National Walking Day

April 1 is National Walking Day. These days with our social distancing, IPN wants to remind you to stay healthy - both mentally and physically. So, lace up your sneakers, get outside and enjoy the sunshine on your break!
Run-Out Repricing

IPN is providing run-out repricing for some terminated groups. Click the button below for a list of those affected.  For more information related to these terminated groups, please contact the payor's customer service representative at the phone number located on the insured's identification card.

Cigna Communication Update
Nucleic acid sexually transmitted diseases laboratory panel reimbursement
For claims processed on or after May 18, 2020
As a result of a recent review, Cigna will rebundle Current Procedural Terminology (CPT┬«) codes used to bill for individual tests that comprise  a Nucleic Acid Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STD) laboratory panel into a single panel code. Accordingly, the claim will be processed and  reimbursed using the CPT panel code. The Genetic Testing Panels Reimbursement Policy (R28) includes a list of current CPT panel codes.

For more information about policies, please visit the Cigna for Health Care Professionals website at CignaforHCP.com (Resources >  Coverage Policies > Policy Updates).
