Mission Moment:
Vital Funding for Children & Families
Here at the Early Childhood Resource Center, in addition to promoting the healthy development of young children, strengthening families, improving the quality of early learning experiences, and increasing school and community readiness, we also advocate for those we serve by helping to inform public policy.
To that end, on February 27, our Early Childhood Resource Center Senior Program Director John Neidert joined other organizations across the state in providing testimony to the Ohio House of Representatives Children and Human Services Committee related to HB 96, which relates to the proposed state budget for FY2026-27.
As our legislators negotiate the state budget, we are requesting that they include critical funding for programs that support working families and empower parents. We were grateful to have the opportunity to share information about the importance of our SPARK kindergarten readiness program, not only locally, but across the state of Ohio.
