October is always an exciting time of the year for us! Not one, but two of our courses start in October and we already have a waiting list! The Ph.D. Corner
Over 100 pages of qualitative research completed about the impact of spoken language interpreters and translators on multilingual family engagement! This journey has allowed me to interview teachers, interpreters, translators, school administrators, superintendents, and multicultural families to absorb information, to learn, and to understand how to move the profession forward. The support for standardized training and a national certification process is evident and I have no doubt that we are establishing a strong framework to get it done. Our multicultural families, interpreters, translators and schools deserve nothing less.

Cultural Humility: Collaborating with English Learner Families and Promoting Welcoming Schools
Our virtual sessions are designed to give Educators, Parent Instructional Coordinators, Parent Liaisons, School Counselors and School Administrators, an overview of evidence-based tools to collaborate effectively with English Learner families and foster family engagement. Through highly-interactive small group activities, we discover creative ways to strengthen cultural and linguistic bridges with multicultural school communities.
