The Importance of Clinical Partnerships in the Selah Journey
Eating disorders are a multi-faceted psychological condition that requires an extensive network of treatment professionals for sustained recovery. Researching treatment providers can be an emotionally difficult time, and at Selah House, it is important for us to provide stability for clients and loved ones in need.
At Selah House we believe that the development and maintenance of clinical partnerships and the constant communication with them provides the proper continuum of care for potential clients and their loved ones. Learn more about what this extensive network means to the Selah House team.
MEDA (Multi-Service Eating Disorders Association)provides education about eating disorders and their underlying causes to develop a compassionate community that promotes hopefulness and supports healing.

The International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals (IAEDP) is recognized for providing quality education and training standards to a multidisciplinary group of healthcare professionals who care for those suffering from eating disorders and body-related issues.
National Nutrition Month
It's National Nutrition Month®, a nutrition education and information campaign created annually in March by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. The campaign focuses on the importance of making informed food choices and developing sound eating and physical activity habits. During this time we also celebrate those who are committed to improving the health of our clients through nutrition education.
On March 14, we also celebrated Registered Dietitian Nutritionist Day, honoring those who contribute their expertise regarding food and nutrition. At Magnolia Creek, we are privileged to have Shelby Duncan, RD, CD, and Rachel VanWoerden, MA, RDN, leading our team in this important role. Both Shelby and Rachel work closely with our clients to evaluate their nutritional deficiencies and unhealthy food- and weight-related behaviors, and create individualized meal plans that are appropriate for their specific treatment needs.
