28 March 2025 (Paris, France) -- The largest cybersecurity educational event and cybersecurity trade show in Europe starts next week in Lille, France. It will run for 3-days.

It is a comprehensive event with:

  • traditional trade show elements, with an enormous exhibit hall, all on one floor, plus ...
  • a huge educational event that includes hands-on training workshops, intensive technical presentations, "red team" challenges, etc.

Replete with food and drink kiosks, free client meeting areas, theatres just off the exhibit area for technical presentations --- etc., etc., etc.

All in one space, all on one floor, in a massive conference center. So you do not need to leave the event to find a drink or food or a vendor's hotel to get a briefing, which is prevalent for some conferences.

Oh, plus a cybersecurity recruitment center for people seeking jobs.

And entrance is free.

The organizers have upped their numbers and now expect well over 20,000 visitors, with 100s of vendors and partners, 400+ speakers, and special restricted plenary sessions for government officials and the intelligence community, with over 75 countries represented.

It gets larger and larger every year ... more sessions, more speakers, more exhibitors.

If you are in Europe or plan to be during that time, you should attend.

It has fast become Europe's major cybersecurity event, but it now also has an enormous U.S. cybersecurity contingent - both vendors and attendees.

Two years ago we interviewed marketing maven Christelle Klein in her HL-COM Paris offices about the cybersecurity industry and high tech in general, her extensive background, the art of communication and public relations for companies, and the cybersecurity forum in Lille. Here is a short clip of her thoughts on the importance of "Le FIC" and why she goes every year:
