Happy 2023 !

As a second semester senior, I have been reflecting upon my experiences throughout college and am so grateful to have met Del when I was only a sophomore, still figuring out my path in this industry. This summer I will complete my final internship and after, I will attend law school in the fall. I want to thank Del and The Perfect Game Foundation for providing me with unlimited support and the encouragement that has allowed me to reach for the stars and make life-long formidable connections. I am immensely enthusiastic about the Tournament this summer and I look forward to seeing you there! Go TPGF !

I'm also very happy to have Lyndsay Goodwin (Ole Miss) assisting with Assistant Editor duties on The Inside Pitch and on TPGF Golf! Welcome Lyndsay!



Happy New Year!

This weekend I begin my road trip down to Mississippi to start my second semester of freshman year at Ole Miss. First semester in my Sports and Recreation class I had the opportunity to interview Del and get to know him and the Foundation a lot better. I am thrilled to now be apart of this Foundation and helping right alongside Carleigh with the newsletter and the upcoming golf tournament this summer. She has been a great mentor and I can’t wait to continue to learn from her and many other Fellows.

As I enter my second semester I will continue working with Ole Miss Football recruiting and pursuing my degree in Sports & Recreation. I have begun the process of applying for summer internships and can’t wait to see what the future has in store for me!

Mark Hindy

I am currently a junior at the College of William & Mary studying finance with a concentration in management and organizational leadership while also a member of William & Mary's division I baseball program.

Sports have always been a huge part of my life, and a great passion of mine. As an athlete and fan, being involved in the industry of sports is a dream. The Perfect Game Foundation has helped me pursue that goal and my appreciation goes to them. Grateful to have been connected with Del and be a part of this impressive Foundation. Even after just a short while with The Perfect Game foundation, Del has worked very hard to connect me with those at the highest levels in the sports world which made it possible for me to ask questions and chat with people with careers and first hand experience in the world of sports. In the midst of trying to discover career opportunities in sports, conversations with Del and members of the Foundation have given me confidence that I am well prepared to pursue a career in the industry. 

I am thankful to be a part of The Perfect Game Foundation and look forward to the future with great excitement and to growing as a professional and contributing to the Foundation by‘Paying It Forward!

Lindsey Ward

My name is Lindsey Ward, and I am a sophomore at Elon University majoring in Marketing with minors in Leadership Studies and Communication.

Growing up around sports, I found myself drawn to the community and atmosphere and knew that I wanted to pursue a career in the industry.

I began working with The Perfect Game Foundation recently but have already gained great insight from the calls I have had with Del on how to approach finding summer internships.

Del has guided me through the application process through presenting me with opportunities as well as supporting me through the application process.

I am thrilled to be a part of TPGF! Thank you to Del for the valuable advice and guidance. I look forward to furthering my career with the support of the Foundation!
