The event's keynote speaker will be James Clemmer, President and CEO of AngioDynamics. Mr. Clemmer brings more than 25 years of leadership within the healthcare industry and a proven track record of success to his position. 
 
In addition to the keynote presentation, EDC officials will share highlights from 2016 and discuss 2017 initiatives. This annual event attracts private citizens as well as roughly 250 local business and non-profit executives, county and municipal administrators, school leaders, and elected officials.

The Feibes & Schmitt Gallery opens
Noon to 7 pm Saturday, June 10

GLENS FALLS, NY - Hyde Collection founder Charlotte Hyde (1867-1963) had the foresight to know that to stay relevant, the Museum would have to evolve. On Saturday, June 10, the Museum opens its doors to the future as it unveils its latest transformation, the newly constructed Feibes & Schmitt Gallery.

From noon to 7 pm, the Museum is hosting a Community Day to celebrate the gallery's opening, with tours of the Museum, children's activities, art projects, artists at work throughout the campus, a Spirograph activity, live music, and farm-to-table food. Bring the family and spend the day creating, or bring a blanket and have a picnic listening to the bluesy rock sound of The Escape.

Airports to get $17 million from U.S. government

ALBANY - The federal government is contributing about $17 million to upgrade airports across the state.

The money is being allocated through the Federal Aviation Administration's Airport Improvement Program. It will be used for renovations and improvements in 36 projects at facilities in the Hudson Valley, Albany area, Southern Tier and central, western and northern New York.
