Chef Charlie Marshall grew up in his parents' restaurant and on their farm on Lummi Island, in Puget Sound. His first restaurant, The Marshal, opened in 2013. The Marshal strives to emulate Chef Charlie's roots by creating approachable yet elevated farm-to-table cuisine.

WineVine Virtual Wine Tasting Series
Riesling: September 22nd at 4:00pm- Join Julie Purpura Hosbach, CS, WSET III, for our monthly WineVine Virtual Educational Wine Tasting Club! This is how it works: Julie will share three wines from around the state that we’ll be tasting and you can buy them and join in online as we have fun seeing, swirling, smelling, sipping, and savoring. This virtual tasting is free for our Consumer me mbers. This week's wines are as follows: (If you can't find the exact wine we're tasting, try a similar one from the same region and/or grape.)

NY Wine Classic Five Course Pairing Dinner at The Marshal

Baked local buffalo brie and upstate apples in puff pastry, umami pear coulis, upstate apple salad with arugula and dried local cherries, toasted hazelnut, rooftop honey vinaigrette, bee pollen

Winery of the Year & Best White Wine - Wagner Vineyards , 2017 Dry Riesling, Estate Grown paired with:
Chilled poached local organic shrimp, cilantro lime curd, salt preserved lemon

Best Rosé Wine - Coffee Pot Cellars , 2018 Rosé paired with:
Savory BBQ pork rib slider, watermelon slaw, feta aioli

Governor's Cup Winner & Best Red Wine - Six Mile Creek Vineyard , 2016 Cabernet Franc paired with:
Dutch oven braised leg of lamb in a spiced cherry espagnole, caramelized rutabaga mash
