The Pitch: Accelerating Entrepreneurship

The Pitch is the first ever small business competition to be held in Sandusky County. The Sandusky County Economic Development Corporation, along with the City of Fremont and the Small Business Development Center have put together this great opportunity for small business entrepreneurs. The winner of The Pitch will receive up to $17,000 in prizes, including one year of rent.

We are excited to announce our finalists for The Pitch Competition:

On August 5 at Moonshine in Downtown Fremont, judges will decide on the ultimate winner. The event will take place right after the Farmers Market from 1 – 2 pm. Please come out to Moonshine Nightclub and vote for your favorite business!

Small Biz Blitz

The SCEDC is committed to expanding our small business engagement to ensure small businesses have the tools needed for success to grow our entrepreneurial ecosystem. The Small Biz Blitz is an abbreviated version of our Business Retention and Expansion visits.

The "Small Biz Blitz" stops take approximately 15 minutes, and include some Q&A followed by a picture with the group. This information is then shared on the SCEDC's social media pages so our following can learn more about you and your small business.

There is not a cost to participate.
