Builder's Risk

Since the retirement of our former Builder’s Risk underwriter, Jama Herrera, we have redirected our builder’s risk new business to our Vice President/ Personal Lines Leader, Sarah Cadle. At Halcyon, we can offer builders risk coverage for both personal and commercial lines.

We have carrier partners that can write ground-up construction of any size, including Residential and Commercial builders risk for builders and owners. Builder’s risk coverage for renovations is also available for your customers. Our team can also provide an Installation Floater policy to cover the actual roof, doors and air conditioning unit the builders install.

Greatest Challenge: Coming to this country and having to learn a second language.

Most important lesson learned: Never take anyone for granted.
Advice for Success: Don't ever stop trying.

Hobbies: Shopping with my older daughter and going to the beach! 

My favorite part about my job is: I feel pleased when at the end of the day I know I tried my best to help my agents.

My favorite work memory is: When our team dressed up as the "Spice Girls"- I was Ginger.

What influenced you to join insurance: An old friend who was also in insurance.

First purchase if you won the lottery? I would travel, then buy myself a nice house near the ocean.
