Welcome

Warm greetings! As summer embraces Japan, many schools close for their holiday recess from late July through August. Hot days beg for a cool ocean breeze, and with so many coastal communities on this island nation, it isn't hard to find (or travel to) somewhere close by to enjoy the beach and sea.

We hope that all of our readers experiencing summer are finding moments to find refreshment and cool off wherever they may be.

Amendment of Japan’s Civil Aeronautics Act in Response to the Haneda Airport Runway Collision

One of the key pillars of the recent amendments to Japan's Civil Aeronautics Act is the enhancement of aviation safety, prompted by the tragic accident at Haneda Airport in January 2024.
