Social determinants of health (SDOH) series continues Jan. 20 and will cover domestic violence, suicide and self-harm.
The next webinar in our series Context Clues: Using Social Determinants of Health (SDOH) to Enhance Treatment will cover domestic violence and suicide and self-harm from 12-1 p.m. CT on Thursday, Jan. 20.

Click here to register. Each webinar in this series, produced in collaboration with Aetna Better Health of Kansas, is divided into two flash presentations. A certificate for half of a contact hour will be provided upon completion of each session.

Helping Our Communities Thrive in the Face of COVID-19, the next installment of The New Epidemic: Treating Emergent Mental Health Needs in the Age of COVID-19, will air 12-1 p.m. Jan. 21.

In Helping Our Communities Thrive in the Face of COVID-19, Mid-America MHTTC trainers will offer solutions and insights for supporting clients’ needs in a post-pandemic world. Trainers will discuss strategies for both adults and youths.

Mark your calendars: The ARC for Health Professionals: A Training of Trainers Symposium convenes Jan. 27-28.

In this free two-day training, the Mid-America MHTTC will provide a walkthrough of the Adult Resilience Curriculum (ARC) for Health Professionals, introduce trainers to ARC materials for both the core and supplemental modules, and provide time for implementation planning. Click here to apply.
40th Anniversary Midwest Symposium to be held in person Feb. 17-19.
Mark your calendars: The Midwest Symposium for Leadership in Behavior Disorders (MSLBD) is set for Feb. 17-19 at the Sheraton Crown Center in Kansas City, Missouri.

The program will include 12 half day workshops, four keynote speakers, and more than 30 breakout sessions on a wide variety of topics related to students with behavioral needs.
