The legal transition to adulthood coincides with your child's eighteenth birthday. We want both parents and children to understand that parents may not be able to act in the same capacity (i.e. make medical decisions or access medical documents) in the event of a medical emergency as they have been accustomed to in the past without the proper documents in place.
Just as we help parents have the proper documents in place to protect themselves and their families, young adults need to have the proper documents in place to ensure that their parents are still able to assist in their affairs as they embark on the next chapter in their young lives.
To make sure college students and young adults are prepared, we are introducing our new special program for college students or individuals under the age of 25 on a reduced, flat fee basis with two options to fit your needs.
- $500- This fee includes one 30-minute consultation, held over the phone or via Zoom, one 30-minute document review and execution, and two documents: a General Durable Power of Attorney and an Advance Health Care Directive.
