Celebrate the Senior Nutrition Program 2025A Place at the Tableon March 19


Join the Nutrition and Aging Resource Center team virtually on Wednesday, March 19, to celebrate the Senior Nutrition Program.

The 2025 theme, A Place at the Table, recognizes the importance of local nutrition programs and the meals being served in communities across the country. ACL, its partners, and local programs can use this theme to highlight several key topics, like the benefits of getting to know your community and program participants and how coming together over meals can improve health and well-being.

Funding Opportunity for Evidence-Based Chronic Disease Self-Management Education Programs Now Available


Proposals due Wednesday, February 19, 2025

A new chronic disease self-management education (CDSME) Notice of Funding Opportunity is now available from ACL’s Administration on Aging.


This funding opportunity is designed for applicants to develop a statewide initiative to address the capacity for — and delivery and sustainability of — evidence-based CDSME and support programs with a focus on improving the behavioral health of older adults and adults with disabilities. An informational conference call was held on Thursday, December 19, 2024.

Apply to Become an Evidence-Based Program


Letter of Intent due January 31,2025


The National Council on Aging (NCOA) has announced that applications are now open for the Evidence-Based Program Review Process. This opportunity is to identify new community programs that meet criteria established by the Administration for Community Living (ACL) for programs to be considered as evidence-based. Learn more about the process and additional deadlines.
