Happy New Year
Decontamination system
In an agreement with Cres Cor, an industry leader in manufacturing commercial food service equipment, we have been provided with 2 prototype decontamination systems to incorporate into our existing decontamination protocols for a 4-week trial period. One system is a moist heat, chemical free device which will allow us to decontaminate various PPE such as turn out gear, our daily uniforms, helmets, goggles, and ballistic vests.  The second system uses UV light and dry heat to decontaminate electronics such as our keyboards and radio MICs. We are pleased to be part of this trial which is a step in the development of localized decontamination systems for First Responders.

The Service Department is still accepting snow barricade requests and have been out installing barricades as the requests are received. Residents may order their snow barricade by filling out the Snow Barricade Application found on the Concord Township website. The cost for the barricade is $40 and the Service Department provides the labor to install them.

The Service Department reminds residents with any questions or concerns to call us at 440-350-3225 or email us at at the links on our page at https://concordtwp.com/departments/service/.

We were honored to once again participate in the Wreath Across America Ceremony, albeit a little different than previous years. Each Veteran’s headstone had a wreath placed, thanks to your generosity. We were grateful that so many of you honored our local heroes. Thank you again for your support.

We wish you a Happy, Healthy and Prosperous New Year.

You've seen them at the grocery store and in bookstores. Many other communities already have them. Now Concord Township will have one of its own! An Images of America Book on Concord Township has been in the works for over 2 years and will be available in 2021 for purchase. Rich in Concord history, every page features pictures of Concord founders, pioneer families, farms and so much more. Many of the images are directly from local families with deep roots in our community. Thanks to all who answered the call to provide family histories and pictures!
