Testimonials |
I'm in 12th grade and a mentor of Youth Leadership Santa Fe. I am interested in becoming a doctor of veterinary medicine or psychology medicine. I have gone through this program with my brother who is currently in 10th grade. My goals are to encourage my younger siblings to pursue higher education. Cristina - Youth Participant
I'm a 10th grader at Monte del Sol Charter School and a 2016 Youth Leadership Santa Fe graduate. I'm hoping to pursue automotive engineering as my future career at New Mexico Tech. The Youth Leadership Program is one of the first out of school programs I've ever done and had an amazing time. This program has helped me improve as a person socially and as a leader. I've had a blast doing the ropes course, team building activities and field training. Thank you so much to all the advisors at Youth Leadership Santa Fe. - Robert - Youth Participant
I'm a sophomore at Capital High School and a graduate of 2016 Youth Leadership Santa Fe. When I graduate from high school I am interested in going to Hendrix to get my master's degree in English Literature. Youth Leadership Santa Fe has helped me speak freely with people and be comfortable speaking to a crowd. I'd like to thank those that have contributed to the scholarship fund. Your donation is helping us to be well rounded individuals. Desta - Youth Participant
"One of the huge values of this program is networking with diverse professionals engaged in a great variety of leadership projects and experiences." -Annmarie, Class of 2016 |
"Like most of life's experiences, it's who we share them with. My fellow classmates represented a far- reaching sampling of the community. I was able to meet, collaborate and make connections with people. I would most likely never have met otherwise. My mind was opened by the opinions of others whose lives and circumstances are different from my own. Through group and one-on- one discussions, I was able to widen my understanding and knowledge of some of the complex issues faced by our community." - Ken, Class of 2016
"The Leadership Santa Fe program was way beyond my expectations! Team building, understanding types of leaders, learning more about the Santa Fe community and challenging myself is an unforgettable experience." - Richard, Class of 2016

Class of 2017 Testimonials
"I LOVE being a part of Leadership Santa Fe 2017. My hopes were fulfilled: I learned so much more about my community than I ever expected. I saw ways I could contribute that would never been a part of my radar before. Aside from feeling a real connection to many members of our class, what I learned was always seek more, believe more, and you will be more. The love I have for Santa Fe is so much richer, thanks to Leadership Santa Fe 2017. Thank you! Thank you!! Thank you!!!"
Karin Lerew

that I had not been familiar with before. It also provided a great bonding/networking experience with Leaders within the community and from all different kinds of businesses. I highly recommend this program whether you ar
e a new Leader or an experienced Leader.
What a wonderful program."
Mary Jo Metzger Executive Director of Diagnostic Services, CHRISTUS St. Regional Medical Center

Nina, St. Michael's High School
"Once I leave high school I am interested in attending a college or university within New Mexico to pursue a bachelor's degree in nursing. This has been one of my dreams because I hope to contribute toward the improvement of health-care issues. You Leadership Santa Fe has shown me how I can apply my strengths and weaknesses through my journey toward achieving my dream. Thank you to those who contributed to the scholarship fund, your donation means a lot"
