For the past 14 years, Kyle has had a busy career in Massage. Specializing in clinical and sports massage therapy, Kyle focused on delivering results-driven treatments that provided pain relief and enhanced performance for his clients. He built his practice Hand in Health Massage & Wellness in Syracuse, NY, with a dynamic, integrative team of nearly 30 massage therapists, fitness professionals, chiropractors, and acupuncturists. Kyle talks about the success of his practice: “Our Clinics have been honored with Best Massage in CNY for the past two years—a testament to the incredible team of providers I get to work with every day.”
A proud member of AMTA for his entire career, Kyle has served on the AMTA-NY board in various roles, including education, government relations, communications, and has had the privilege of serving on the Board of Directors for 10 of those years. Through his tireless efforts, Kyle was awarded the AMTA Meritorious and President’s Awards during his time on the board. He considers his awards a direct reflection of the incredible teams and mentors he has worked alongside with at the AMTA.
Kyle also has the honor of serving as Vice Chair of the New York State Massage Therapy Board for the past four years. In this role, the board supports the NYS Legislature, provides guidance on scope of practice questions, participates in disciplinary reviews, and oversees the development and administration of the bi-annual licensing exam. “It’s been a privilege to work alongside so many dedicated professionals to advance the profession across our state,” Kyle states.
Since 2024, Kyle has joined the inaugural massage therapy faculty at Northeast College of Health Sciences in Seneca Falls, NY, as a Lead Adjunct Professor. “It’s been a rewarding experience helping launch a new program within such a forward-thinking institution—complete with advanced classroom technology, an on-site cadaver lab, and a public community health clinic,” Kyle stated. “Watching our students grow in confidence and skill has been one of the most fulfilling chapters of my career so far.”
Kyle regularly volunteers at events such as the CNY Pride Festival and local races, including the 2025 Syracuse Mountain Goat Run. “This year, we were able to bring our massage therapy students to the event to provide post-race sports massage,” Kyle states. “These races are not-for-profit and help fund scholarships for local students.”
