Happy 4th
Fire Department Meeting
The first Fire Station Project Stakeholder meeting was held on June 16th. The purpose of this meeting was to have an opportunity to listen and gather input from our community about their thoughts and ideas on the project. We are so grateful to the community members who attended both in person and virtually and offered suggestions.

We look forward to working with our community on this project and moving forward responsibly. In order to do so, the next steps are as follows:

  1. The architects will make revisions to the plans based on internal and external stakeholder input. Architects will begin working on a re-design of areas. This design phase can take a few months to complete. Our goal is to have something new to present to the community at the next Stakeholder meeting which will be announced soon.
  2. Current options for financing for the project are being evaluated.

If you would like to learn more about this project, take a virtual tour of our current stations, or watch the video of the Stakeholders meeting, please visit the New Fire Station Project page of the Township website. You may also reach out to our Fire Chief, Matt Sabo at firechief@concordtwp.com or Andy Rose arose@concordtwp.com regarding the meeting and/or the project.

The next Stakeholder Meeting date will be posted on our Facebook page and website . We hope to see you there! Thank you for helping us to make our beautiful Concord Township community a safer place!
The Service Department would like to thank residents for their patience in the areas where road improvements have taken place over the last few months. Most of the major projects have been completed and are back to normal traffic flow. The Service Department will be out doing road maintenance throughout the Township. Crews will be crack-sealing roads to help prevent premature deterioration, concrete slab replacement on concrete streets, and ditch maintenance.

Please keep in mind when you come across a construction zone to slow down and move over. The Service Department reminds residents that the Yard Waste dumpster is still available at the Service Department for residents to drop off their yard waste. Only yard waste such as leaves and grass clippings in biodegradable paper bags are allowed. (NO PLASTIC). If residents have any questions or concerns they are reminded to contact the Service Department at 440-350-3225.
