Community Day is August 11 th

Bring your friends and family to a fun-filled day of kids' activities, live music, food trucks, Uncorked, fireworks and more. Be in the parade! Nominate a Concord resident for Citizen of the Year! Tell your favorite graduating high school senior about the $1,000 scholarship opportunity. Barchester Park

The walking path surrounding Barchester park has been repaved and awaits your leisurely stroll!  This hidden Concord gem is located at 7318 Morley Road, around the corner from Concord Hills Park on Hoose Road. Parking is limited to the few spaces at the park entrance, between two homes.  To enter the park, walk past the gate and down the short path that leads to the grassy area perfect for a picnic, family game or small scale sports practice. Visit http://concordtwp.com/community/parks/ or call 440-639-4650 for more information.

Fire Department

Rest assured that we are ready to assist if emergencies arise within any of the Lake Metroparks in Concord Township. We work in conjunction with park rangers and recently spent time in the Chair Factory Falls area training for rope rescues .

Service Department

Township crews are currently repairing Brightwood Drive. Work should be completed the week of June.

The Service Department has begun construction baseball diamond #2 at Town Hall Ravenna Road.

Zoning Department

Businesses Continue to Expand on Crile Road The Zoning Department staff and boards have been busy reviewing plans for several commercial projects proposed along Crile Road. Recently approved projects include a brand new Holiday Inn Express Hotel and Verizon store which will both be located on Gold Court off of Crile Road. Additionally, coming soon to the Crile Crossing retail center will be Chipotle, Subway, and Cleveland Yoga.

Discount Drug Mart has also been a wonderful addition to the retail services now available in the district. Additional retail and restaurants will be coming to that shopping center as well, including Peace, Love and Little Donuts! What would you like to see move into Concord? Email us to let us know!
