Camp Little Notch will again be walking in the Capital Pride Parade this year and we hope that you can join us! 

The parade is tomorrow Sunday June 11, 2023 in Washington park in Albany. Check in for parade participants starts at 10:00am and the parade starts at 11:45am. 

We will have our sign and CLN swag to pass out to parade watchers! OF COURSE, the bubble man will be joining us again! Last year, everybody LOVED the bubbles and we are sure they'll be a big hit this year too!

Family Camp

Registration closes for Family Camp on June 15th! Family Camp is a customizable overnight camp experience for the whole family, happening June 30-July 5. Stay with us for one night or up to 5, and maybe you'll even stay with us to celebrate the 4th of July! This is an all-inclusive camp - meals and all activities are covered in the fee.

Not interested in Family Camps or Summer Camps for yourself? Please think of someone who might be and share our programming with them! There is power in numbers and in you as our supporters. If everyone who was reading this right now helped recruit one attendee, we'd sell out all of our programs!

News from the Furnace Task Force

Guided Tours to the Historic Mount Hope Blast

Iron Furnace are now open to the public

first time! Tours will be led by members of the

FoCLN Furnace Task Force who have new

information provided by the historical structure

report completed by Argus Architecture and

Perservation, P.C.

The first tour was June 3 and we had 3 participants. More tours are scheduled for the first Saturday of July and September at 10am. Please spread the word! The fee is $20 per adult and $10 for children ages 4 and up.

Additional tours may be offered at CLN events, such as All Friends Reunion or Women's Weekend.

The Historic Structures Report and Conditions of Assessment of the furnace, funded by the Preserve New York Grant* is in! It is being reviewed by the Board and Task Force and information will be released soon. It is a spectacular document with new historical information about the furnace and the “lost” Mount Hope Village.  The furnace unfortunately is not as stable as it looks and there is a hefty price tag should we try to keep it standing. Decisions for the future. For now, keep your distance!
