COVID-19 Update
As Illinois works to move into Phase 4 of the re-opening plan, we are continuing to provide telehealth services through June 30th. That option will remain available as long as coverage allows with Blue Cross Blue Shield so please contact your provider if you have questions about your plan.

Starting July 1st, as clients feel comfortable, we will also start in-person services with safety and cleaning protocols in place. Our admin team will reach out to all clients prior to July with further information and we welcome discussion with your clinician if you have questions or concerns.

Anti-racism Resource
At Simply Bee we have worked to provide anti-racism training and education to our team. We hope to also inspire our community to seek knowledge and engage in hard conversations alongside of us. However, it is not only taking steps to educate ourselves but also taking action towards allyship and the necessary changes needed to stop institutional and generational racism.

Anti-racism work can seem intimidating and many don't know where to start. We would like to recommend this virtual training that's available through June 30th. Whether you're in the mental health field or a community member who wants to know how you can personally make a difference - this is a good place to start. This training will challenge you, provide you knowledge and skills to gain a better understanding of racial justice and how to be a strong ally.
Mental Health for Professionals in the Field
Mental health is a fundamental part of wellness. This is a statement we not only take seriously but it is part of our core mission at Simply Bee. Owner and therapist Audrey Grunst was recently quoted in an article for the Huffington Post saying, “Yes, it’s true! Therapists have their own therapist ― or they should ― because we also need a place to feel validated when we worry about the future, and we need a therapist to challenge us when our anxiety has gotten out of control."

We believe that mental health and wellness is for everyone - our own team included!
