Tacoma Conference Wrap-Up  
It was great to see over 800 people in attendance in Tacoma for our first Section Conference in three years! The conference was a resounding success and attendees were all so grateful to be back together for face-to-face networking.

The conference technical program was outstanding as usual. All conference presentations have been uploaded to our website. Attendees who track CEUs/PDH's can expect their attendance letters to be emailed to them by the end of the month.

Following the conference, attendees were sent an email with the post conference survey link. Survey results will be used as we begin planning for next years conference in Kennewick. The survey is open through June and can be accessed here.

This years conference included a Friday Awards Luncheon where we recognized some of our exceptional volunteers and their accomplishments this past year. Award recipients can be found on our website and look for full coverage of our awards in the summer edition of Water Matters arriving in your mailbox in July.

The conference concluded Friday with our Board of Trustees Meeting where our new Board of Trustees took office under the direction of Section Chair Michelle Cheek. If you missed Michelle's incoming chair speech it can be found on our website.

The Abstract Window Closes July 30
The abstract window is now open for next years section conference May 3-5, 2023 in Kennewick, Washington.

The abstract window is scheduled to close July 30. Abstracts will be selected and speakers contacted in the fall.
Diversity Member Inclusion Demographics Survey
Survey Closes September 2
AWWA members know that when you join or renew your membership with AWWA you are asked some voluntary demographic information.

The PNWS Diversity Member and Inclusion Sub-Committee is looking for some additional voluntary data on our members to help plan for recruiting and retention of our members.

The survey takes just five minutes and will help us identify areas of improvement to promote an inclusive environment where all members feel welcome. Participants who complete the survey prior to September 2nd will be entered in a raffle.
