Get ready for the 2017 KCA Convention!

The 2017 KCA Convention and Ag Industry Trade Show will kick off on Thursday morning with Registration opening at 7 a.m. The Registration Desk will be located in the Lobby of the Convention Center. Registration is required to attend the educational programs, business meetings, social events and the Trade Show. 

You can register on-site from 7 a.m. - 6 p.m. on Thursday, and 6:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. on Friday.

Student Registration - $10

Badges:
Convention badges are required for admittance to all convention events and the Trade Show. Hold on to your badge and be sure not to lose it.

Opening and Closing Sessions

Please join us for the Opening and Closing Sessions during the Convention to hear from NCBA's Vice President of Government Affairs, Colin Woodall, along with annual reports from the Kentucky Cattlemen's Association, Kentucky Beef Council and Kentucky Beef Network staff. During the closing session on Friday we will be giving out our Membership Recruitment Awards.

Ag Industry Trade Show 

Join us in the Trade Show starting Thursday at 11AM to visit with over 100 exhibitors covering cattle health, handling facilities, feed, tractors, forage, insurance, and much, much more. Many activities will take place during the two days inside the trade show: Welcome Lunch, Ag Industry Breakfast, Ribeye Cookoff, Allied Industry Game Night, Blue Grass Marketing Group Internet Auction and more!
  





Trade Show Events



Join us on Thursday afternoon in the Trade Show for our annual County Rib-eye Cookoff and vote for the People's Choice!  Later on in the evening, place your bets with casino-style games and more during the Allied Industry Game Night in the Exhibition Hall.

Breakout Sessions

Our first breakout session at Convention will be a Question and Answer with Colin Woodall, the Vice President of Government Affairs for the  National Cattlemen's Beef Association  in Washington, D.C. He serves as NCBA's chief lobbyist on Capitol Hill and leads the Washington office in developing strategies to ensure that the cattle industry's voice is being heard by policy makers.  The session will be held Thursday at 7:30 p.m. in Elkhorn A&B.  



The Benefits of Being a KY EXCEL Farm

KY EXCEL is a free, voluntary leadership program for Kentucky farms. Come learn about the benefits of becoming a member, including free marketing, networking and training opportunities. We will review project ideas that are good for the environment and your bottom line. A brief overview of the services that Kentucky Division of Compliance Assistance has to offer Kentucky beef producers will also be provided.


Session being held Friday at 3 p.m. in Elkhorn C. 
Evening Banquet

Join us on Friday Evening for our Annual Banquet to recognize folks for their service to our industry, induct our 2017 Hall of Fame, and recognize our out-going President, David Lemaster. We will end the evening with our Foundation Auction. The Banquet will be held Friday at 6 p.m. in the Blue Grass Ballroom. 

You must have a meal ticket for this event, which you can purchase upon Registration for $50. To have preferred banquet seating, you can reserve a full table for $600. Tables seat 10.
