The critical difference is how they see themselves. What stops many people from living the life they want, love, and deserve is that they don't see themselves the way they need to in order to experience such a life or achieve all their goals. Or, to put it another way, our self-image must match what we want to achieve.

It doesn’t matter how grandiose our plans are or how inspiriting our life vision may be; if we don’t see ourselves as worthy, what we genuinely desire will not manifest...

GOVERNING MEMBERS TO VOTE ON BYLAW CHANGES
ALL ENCOURAGED TO ATTEND FOR LATEST OPERATONAL AND FINANCIAL UPDATE
This Sunday, September 11th from 1 to 2:30 p.m. the Board of Trustees will host an important community meeting that all are invited to attend either in-person or by Zoom. The world has changed, and many individuals now attend meetings via Zoom but SLC's current Bylaws state that all voting must be done in person.

At this September 11th Community Meeting, SLC Governing Members will vote on proposed Bylaw amendments that, among other things, allows governing members to vote online. A 2/3 majority of the governing members present at a duly called meeting is required to pass Bylaws amendments.

If you haven't already done so, we encourage you to renew your governing membership and attend the Community Meeting on Sunday, September 11th in person or via Zoom.

The Board of Trustees will also offer everyone an opportunity to reflect on the past year due to the pandemic and to let them know in writing what you feel should be celebrated and/or what needs to be acknowledged and then released as we move into a new paradigm for SLC by continuing to build our community and our connections.

SLC will provide different salads for lunch after second service for a suggested $5 Love Offering. The Board will be sending another email reminder this Friday with more details about the meeting agenda.
