End of the School Year Back Lawn Party this Evening!

Come celebrate with our teachers and staff the end of the 2025-2026 school year with a back lawn party! It will take place this evening from 5:00 pm - 7:30 pm at our Main Campus (515 Hillcrest Ave. Burlignton, NC) back lawn. You can bring your own blankets, chairs, food, and drinks, or purchase from one of the food trucks we have invited: MexiArepas, Bubble Best Teas, & Antojitos Tapatios. The Mechanical Bull will also be here, giving parents and students a ride! (Parents, please sign the waiver before letting your child ride.) and a free inflatable for the kids.

Last School Mass of the Year!

On Friday, May 29th, in the morning, we celebrated our last school Mass of the 2025-2026 school year with Fr. Vincent and an awards ceremony for Elementary School students. Thank you to the students who led us in prayer this morning, as well as our cantors and altar servers. Congratulations to the students who received an award!

Before the Awards Ceremony, we were delighted to welcome a surprise guest, Mr. Marcelo Eurestes, the Superintendent of Schools from the Diocese of Raleigh! He came to honor Mrs. Champion, Mrs. Gomez & Mrs. Martin for their remarkable 30, 40 & 5 years of service, respectively, to Blessed Sacrament School and their unwavering commitment to Catholic Education. A big congratulations!

Summer Office Hours

Our Summer Office Hours are from Monday through Thursday from 9 am until 1 pm for BSS families that need to turn in required forms, make payments, or have general questions about the upcoming school year. If you need to make an appointment with any member of our administrative staff, please call Leslie Miranda, our office administrator at 336-570-0019. Since there will be construction happening on both campuses, please call before you come in.

If your child is going into kindergarten, please send their updated Immunization Records to the office and have your child's doctor fill out a Health Assessment Form!

Make sure you submit an updated Emergency Contact Form for the 2026-2027 school year. CLICK HERE if you would rather print one out and return it to our school office. This form is required for all students to remain in our buildings.

If you would like your child to do sports, make sure you have an Athletic Physical Form completed by your child's physician, and complete/bring back the BSS Athletic Forms before your child starts sports practices.

Submit a completed Media Form and a Walking Permissions Slip Form for each child, as we use this last form to walk to mass each Friday. Attending mass is mandatory for students in K-8. 

Afterschool Care Services Prices:

• Drop-in rate: $15.00 per day
• Monthly rate until 4:30 pm: $105.00 per child
• Monthly rate until 6:00 pm: $180.00 per child

If your child ever needs to take medication during school hours, please never send that in your child's school book bag. You can submit to the office a completed Medical Authorization Form signed by your child's physician and the Authorization for Administration of Medication Form with your child's medication.

Apply for Scholarship Opportunities

The NC Opportunity Scholarship will open up for new families until funds run out. If your family is renewing the scholarship, please do not miss their deadlines. Do not forget to request a new scholarship for an enrolling K-8 sibling.

Please review the 2026-2027 Tuition Rates for the upcoming school year, and there will be no increase in tuition! If you believe that your family will need a scholarship, please apply for an NC Opportunity Scholarship, which will open applications for new families on February 2nd, 2026. If you are bringing lunch to your child, please make sure it is labeled with your student's name and grade level and leave it on the table just outside the front door of the school--Do not forget to buzz the office to let us know you dropped by.

PE Uniforms:

You can still purchase PE uniforms locally at Graham Sporting Goods. They have yellow PE shirts, solid sweatpants, and zip-up jackets. You do NOT have to get the logo on the sweatpants, but it must be on the jacket and sweatshirt.

PE pants need to be solid navy. There should not be any lines down the sides or decals on them.
