Principal's Message
March 13, 2020

Dear Parents,
Blessed Sacrament School is taking proactive measures to ensure the health of our school community. To help prevent the spread of respiratory viruses, including COVID-19 and flu, please continue these important tips:

  • Keep your child home when they are sick. Please be fever free for at least 24 hours before returning to school.
  • Have your child wash their hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. If soap and water are not available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer.
  • Please tell your children to avoid touching their eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.
  • Cover their cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash.
  • Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces, which is done every day at school.

Auction
The auction is postponed for a later date in the spring.

Easter Break
With Easter Break approaching, please be prudent concerning any travels.  If a family travels to areas of China, Italy, Iran, South Korea, or any high risk areas, the student/s may not return to school for a minimum of 14 days. This also includes any cruise trips. We are not telling you that you cannot travel, but this action is intended to prevent the virus from spreading throughout our community. Your honesty and cooperation will be greatly appreciated.

Limited Visitors
We are limiting the number of visitors entering the building. During this time, please keep from coming to eat lunch with your child. Time for Twos has been cancelled, and we are working with other groups that use our building.

School Closure
Our goal is to remain open and teach your children. In the event of closure, work will be sent home. Your child will be responsible for completing the assignments. MS students will need to check their Google Classroom every day to view assignments.

Field Trips
All field trips have been put on hold for the moment. We will evaluate the situation on a day-by-day basis.

Thank you for your understanding as the health and safety of our students, families, and staff are our first priority.

In Christ,
Mrs. Gomez
