On Thursday, February 26th, our wonderful teachers and staff enjoyed a delicious lunch catered by Rise & Shine Diner. Then, this morning, Friday, February 27th, we had a delightful spread of coffee, juice, and donuts. Everything was absolutely tasty! This week, students also took the time to write notes of appreciation for their teachers. After our school mass today, Mrs. Gomez recognized all of our teachers and staff. We love our teachers! 💙💛

School Mass Today
This morning, on Friday, February 26th, we gathered for Mass with Fr. Jose. He shared with our students that Jesus is our guide and a model for our spiritual journey, encouraging us to acknowledge our sins and seek His forgiveness during this Lenten season. Immediately after Mass, Mrs. Gomez urged all students to put an end to the unkindness towards one another. God does not find humor in such behavior, and He disapproves of us making jokes at each other's expense. Please refrain from mocking any of your classmates. Jesus cares for each of you and wishes you a fantastic weekend.
We want to express our gratitude to all the teachers, students, and staff who contributed to the success of today's Mass. Below are some photos from the service:

In Memory of Eamon Hipps
This past Wednesday, February 25th, we held an Out-Of-Uniform Day to celebrate Eamon Hipps's birthday. Students and staff wore a special shirt to pay tribute to Hipps#1's memory. In the afternoon, our students gathered to pray the rosary for the repose of his soul. Blessed Sacrament School successfully raised $400, which will be donated to the Athletic Booster Club at Western Alamance High School in memory of Eamon Hipps. We continue to keep the Hipps family in our thoughts and send Mrs. Hipps a heartfelt hug. CLICK HERE for a video recording of our eighth-grade students singing " Happy Birthday" all the way to Heaven for Eamon. We would like to give a special thanks to Mrs. York from York's Photography Studio for taking pictures that day and Graham Sporting Goods for making the shirts we wore that day. Friendly Reminder: Elementary Morning Drop-off
With a new ABSS bus route on Hillcrest Ave., we are running into problems, especially when children are late. Unattended cars when parents are signing in their child/ren block the bus from passing on Hillcrest. We are receiving complaints because of this problem. If you are late, you have two options: Con la nueva ruta de autobús de ABSS en Hillcrest Ave., estamos teniendo problemas, especialmente cuando los niños llegan tarde. Los autos sin supervisión impiden el paso del autobús en Hillcrest cuando los padres registran a sus hijos. Estamos recibiendo quejas debido a este problema. Si llega tarde, tiene dos opciones:
- Park in the parking lot and walk your child to school. Estacionar en el estacionamiento y caminar con su hijo/a a la escuela.
- Park across the street (do not block driveways). Estacionar al otro lado de la calle (no bloquear las entradas).
Please do not block the school bus. I would not want the police to be involved. Thanks for your cooperation. Por favor, no bloquee el paso del autobús escolar.
