This morning, on October 2nd at 8 am, we celebrated our Annual Blessing of the Animals event alongside Fr. Jim Fukes! Our BSS families arrived with a delightful array of companions, like cats, dogs, bearded dragons, and charming silky chickens! We're incredibly grateful to every family who joined us, brought their beloved pets, and generously donated pet food items! These contributions will be forwarded to the Humane Society of Alamance County 💙💛

Esta mañana, 2 de octubre, a las 8:00 a. m., celebramos nuestro evento anual de Bendición de los Animales junto al padre Jim Fukes. Oktoberfest will be here before you know it! This is a huge event that we host every year, and it is fun for the entire family! Please consider volunteering some of your time so we can make this night one to remember! You can sign up to decorate your trunk for our Trunk-or-Treat, bring in items for our bake sale, or help with different events throughout the night. Children in K-8 received an eye screening on Monday (9-28-26). Please find the results in their Friday folder. Please notice if an eye exam was recommended.

BSS to Open 9th Grade in Fall 2027!

Blessed Sacrament School is currently working to open up a high school in the Fall of 2027, starting with 9th grade. It will be housed in the current middle school building, and we are opening enrollment on October 21st. More details will be shared in the coming weeks!

Sports Reminders:

***All athletes must have their "Athletic Permission and Emergency Form for 2026-2027" and the "Athletic Physical Form" completed at the time of their first tryout/practice, or they WILL NOT be able to participate. No exceptions.***

All athletes should come in proper clothing and footwear for their respective sport and bring a water bottle.

The NC Opportunity Scholarship has opened for Fall Endorsement in your MyPortal. Once you receive the email notification, please make sure you endorse that your child is attending Blessed Sacrament School. Review your To Do List for any pending tasks you may have to do.

If you are bringing lunch to your child, please make sure it is labeled with your student's name and grade level and leave it on the table just outside the front door of the school--Do not forget to buzz the office to let us know you dropped by.

PE Uniforms:

You can still purchase PE uniforms locally at Graham Sporting Goods. They have yellow PE shirts, solid sweatpants, and zip-up jackets. You do NOT have to get the logo on the sweatpants, but it must be on the jacket and sweatshirt.

PE pants need to be solid navy. There should not be any lines down the sides or decals on them.
