Tennis Racquets & Grip Tape-Can You Help?
Do you have a tennis racquet gathering cobwebs in your garage? Do you know someone who does? If we can get a racquet for everyone in PE class it would be greatly beneficial. Right now we have just 18, which includes all the dead racquets from Mrs. Champion's garage. We need 34 to cover 5-8th PE classes. Please reach out to any tennis friends or relatives! Even if not immediately, racquets and grip tape would still be appreciated!
Thank you,

Teacher & Staff Spotlight
This school year has brought many changes to Blessed Sacrament School. For the first time in over a decade, we have several double classes and we are blessed to be able to hire more teachers. We want our school community to get to know our teachers and staff better, so we have chosen to bring back our Teacher & Staff Spotlight. Every week we will feature a teacher or staff member with their short bio and interesting facts about them. This week we are introducing our 6th-grade Homeroom Teacher of the Falcons Team, 5th & 6th-Grade Math Teacher, and a parent of our school, Mr. Josh Hill!!
| |
My name is Josh Hill. I am the 5th and 6th grade math teacher and the 5th grade science teacher at Blessed Sacrament School. I have been working for the school since 2019 when I was hired to work as a substitute teacher. I worked in retail management for about 8 years before I decided to become a teacher. I hold degrees in Business Administration, Economics, and most recently Education. I received my Degree from UNCG this past May. Blessed Sacrament School is the reason why I decided to become a teacher. Working with these amazing educators here inspired me to go back to school and make a career change. Plus, Blessed Sacrament School has the best students anywhere. I grew up here in North Carolina and have lived in the Greensboro/Burlington area since I was 11 years old. I have three children, Elizabeth (AlumnKnight), Abby (2), and David (PreK), who starting in January will either be attending or will have attended this amazing school. My wife, Jennifer, and I live here in Burlington with our three children.

Lost & Found
Lost items are already starting to accumulate in both buildings. Last year the amount of items in the Lost & Found at the end of the year was overwhelming! We do not have the space to keep these items for long periods of time. This year, we will be donating/purging items that aren't labeled every Friday!
PLEASE label all items! We will make every effort to return lost items to their owners. If they are not labeled, they will be placed in the Lost & Found. On Friday afternoons, clothing and jackets will be donated to the Swap Shop. Water bottles, lunch boxes, and all other items will be thrown away.
Mabel's Labels are a great way to help us return your children's lost items!
You are welcome to come inside to look in the Lost & Found anytime!
Thank you for understanding!

Objetos perdidos y encontrados

Corporate Sponsorship Opportunities for the 2023-2024 school year
We have new Corporate Sponsorship Opportunities for the 2023-2024 school year. We would love to help promote your business, while you support our school!
Money raised during the 2022-2023 school year was used for several major and unexpected expenses. We are in the process of replacing our 26-year-old Fire Alarm System at the Main Campus. We also replaced and repaired flooring in several areas of the building. A few rooms also received new paint!
Due to increased enrollment, we purchased 100 new Chromebooks for our students. None of these things would have been possible without the support of our community!
