This morning, Friday, October 31st, marks Halloween, and we had a blast celebrating with our annual Halloween Parade! It was a day without uniforms, allowing both students and staff to wear their costumes to school. 🎃

Immediately following the parade, our Little Knights enjoyed their Halloween Parties, and the students had an amazing time! Here are some snapshots from today's festivities.

Oktoberfest Success!

We extend our gratitude to all the school staff and parents who volunteered at our annual Okotbefest event held last Saturday, October 25th. A special acknowledgment goes to the Knights of Columbus for their assistance in selling beer and brats, as well as helping with the setup & clean up. We are also deeply appreciative of the 8th-grade parents who contributed their time at the Haunted Hall, along with those who generously donated baked goods for our sale—we successfully raised over $400, which allowed us to pay the live band performing at the event. The funds generated from the Haunted Hall will be allocated to our 8th-grade students for their upcoming overnight field trip to Hershey, PA, this Spring.

Mandatory Parent/Teacher Conferences - Please Sign up for one!

Dear parents,

Conferences will be on Wednesday, November 19 from 1:30 p.m.-7:00 p.m. and Thursday, November 20 from 3:30 p.m.-6:00 p.m. with your child's teacher(s). A parent must attend the conference in order to pick up your child's report card.

Please choose a time on this sign-up that works with your schedule. Preschool-8th-grade conferences will be in the classroom.

Dine Out Night: It's All Good Southern Kitchen is Scheduled!

Take a break from cooking on Tuesday, November 11th, and enjoy dinner at It's All Good Southern Kitchen! The restaurant will contribute 15% of qualifying sales from 4PM to 8PM only. Please note that orders through third-party apps are not included due to increased fees. However, pick-up and delivery orders placed directly on their website are eligible; participants should mention they are part of the fundraiser (include this in the special instructions when ordering online). We appreciate your support!

Original Works Fundraiser Update

As of today, we are estimated to have over $450 in profits from the sales, which is amazing!

Thank you very much for all of your support! Orders will be coming around the end of November/early December, and the plan as of now is to distribute the orders from the sale at the Christmas Concert & 8th Grade Nativity on Thursday, December 11th. The funds will be for our STEAMM program!

Middle School Fieldtrips 2026!

• Our 8th-grade students will have an opportunity to travel to Lancaster and Hershey, PA, which will take place on May 7-9, 2026. CLICK HERE to access the draft itinerary for the 8th-grade trip.

Blessed Sacrament School is a member of PECSAA (Piedmont Elementary Catholic School Athletic Association). For most sports, students from 5th-8th grade are eligible to participate.

Day Camp(s) Sign Ups!

We will have three Day Camps this school year when school is out. You can use the following form to sign your children up for Day Camp on November 24 and November 25, 2025. The price is $40.00 per camper per day.

PE Uniforms:

You can still purchase PE uniforms locally at Graham Sporting Goods. They have yellow PE shirts, solid sweatpants, and zip-up jackets. You do NOT have to get the logo on the sweatpants, but it must be on the jacket and sweatshirt.

PE pants need to be solid navy. There should not be any lines down the sides or decals on them.
