9/11 Prayer Service
This morning, Friday, September 9th we held our annual 9/11 prayer service in honor of all the first responders: police officers, firefighters, doctors, nurses, and chaplains that helped many on that tragic day. We pray for all of those who lost their lives in New York, Virginia, and Pennsylvania that day. We will never forget.

We also welcomed this morning 19 first responders from the Burlington Police Department and Fire Fighters. Thank you for your service to our community! We thank Mr. Lachance & Mrs. Spradlin for playing the piano and signing. At the end of the service, our first responders enjoyed coffee and donuts.

Food Pantry Distribution Scheduled!

Blessed Sacrament Church will have a food pantry distribution this Monday, September 12th from 11:30AM-5:00PM. 408 W. Davis St., Burlington, NC 27215.

Since our last distribution, Fr. Paul Lininger, OFM Conv. has moved to Washington, D.C., and our new pastor is Fr. Vincent Rubino, OFM Conv. who was previously Associate Pastor. All of our Franciscan friars share great enthusiasm for our Little Portion Food Pantry and its mission and ministry, as do our volunteers.

Before leaving, Fr. Paul shared his numerous food pantry contacts with me so that I can communicate with you on behalf of Fr. Vincent. (I've BCC'd over 200 of you!)

The only major change to our distributions is the traffic route. I've attached a JPEG file showing a map of the new route. Everyone who comes through is going to receive a bilingual physical copy.

Should you have any questions, please call our parish office: 336-226-8796. We are grateful for the opportunity to serve you and our community.

Blessings to you,
