Thanksgiving Prayer Service by 2nd Grade

Today, Friday, November 21, we celebrated our traditional Thanksgiving Prayer Service led by our 2nd graders. All students had an opportunity to read a prayer petition and were given a prayer card to share with all teachers and staff at Blessed Sacrament School & Church. Save the Date: ABSS High School Specialty Programs are coming to BSS!

On Wednesday, December 3, coordinators from the Alamance-Burlington School System's Specialty Programs, including the IB Program at Williams High, the Pre-Collegiate Academy at Graham High School, and the Early College Program at Alamance Community College, will visit Blessed Sacrament School. They will hold an information session about their high school programs in the middle school gym from 2:00-4:00 pm, ready to answer any questions you may have about the application processes. We invite all middle school families and church members with students in middle school to join us!

Bishop McGuinness Catholic High School to Visit BSS!

On Wednesday, December 10, from 2:00 to 4:00 pm, the Director of Admissions at Bishop McGuinness Catholic High School will visit Blessed Sacrament Middle School to assist all 8th-grade families with their high school enrollment applications. If you or your child is interested, please come! She will be at the middle school SmartLab (2nd floor). All middle school families are welcome to come and find out more about Bishop.

We will have three Day Camps this school year when school is out. You can use the following form to sign your children up for Day Camp on November 24 and November 25, 2025. The price is $40.00 per camper per day.

Christmas Concert & Eighth Grade Nativity

It's hard to believe it's already that time of year, but our Annual Christmas Concert & Eighth Grade Nativity will be here in just a few short weeks! We will celebrate the Christmas holiday and enjoy some beautiful music on Thursday, December 11, at 6:00 PM. ¡Parece mentira que ya estemos en esta época del año! Nuestro Concierto Anual de Navidad y la representación navideña de los alumnos de octavo grado llegarán en tan solo unas semanas. Celebraremos la Navidad y disfrutaremos de hermosa música el jueves 11 de diciembre a las 6:00 p. m.

PARKING: There are lots in the back of the church and across the street next to the baseball field. The sanctuary will be closed during sound check. Please be patient, as we will be working hard to create the best performance possible!

Blessed Sacrament School is a member of PECSAA (Piedmont Elementary Catholic School Athletic Association). For most sports, students from 5th-8th grade are eligible to participate.

Track is open to K-8th grade.

***All athletes must have their "Athletic Permission and Emergency form for 2025-2026" and the "Athletic Physical Form" completed at the time of their first tryout/practice or they WILL NOT be able to participate. No exceptions.***

Middle School Fieldtrips 2026!

Our 8th-grade students will have an opportunity to travel to Lancaster and Hershey, PA, which will take place on May 7-9, 2026. CLICK HERE to access the draft itinerary for the 8th-grade trip.
Our 6th & 7th grade students will have an opportunity to travel to Williamsburg, VA, which will take place on May 18-19, 2026. CLICK HERE to access the draft itinerary for the 6th & 7th grade trip.

PE Uniforms:

You can still purchase PE uniforms locally at Graham Sporting Goods. They have yellow PE shirts, solid sweatpants, and zip-up jackets. You do NOT have to get the logo on the sweatpants, but it must be on the jacket and sweatshirt.

PE pants need to be solid navy. There should not be any lines down the sides or decals on them.
