Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe

Today, Friday, December 12th, we celebrated a prayer service on both campuses in honor of Our Lady of Guadalupe, Patroness of the Americas and the Unborn. Students were encouraged to bring in flowers.

First apparition of Our Lady of Guadalupe:

"On Saturday morning, December 9, 1531, Juan Diego was on his way to church to participate in the Mass for the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception and in the catechetical instruction which would follow. As he reached Tepeyac Hill, he heard beautiful music and a beautiful voice calling out his name. Our Blessed Mother appeared to him as the β€œwoman clothed with the sun” of the Book of Revelation, pregnant with the Child Jesus. She instructed Juan Diego to go to the house of Bishop Juan de ZumΓ‘rraga and to request that a chapel be built in her honor on Tepeyac Hill so that she might show the infinite majesty and mercy of God to all His children of America." -guadalupeshrine.org

Mrs. Glenn also explained more about Our Lady of Guadalupe to her Kindergraten students.

Assistant Principal's Message

Dear Parents,

Thank you for coming to the Christmas Concert. It was truly wonderful. All of our children performed beautifully, and I was so proud to see their hard work on display. The Nativity reminded us of the real reason for the season and brought warmth to the whole evening. Blessed Sacrament appreciates your support of our students and hope everyone enjoyed the program as much as we did.
