This Friday morning, September 18, marked an exciting milestone as our student council members officially launched their year-long roles by hosting the inaugural Fri-Yay! Session! The gym buzzed with energy as our middle school students divided into four dynamic groups and engaged in an exhilarating running game. It was truly inspiring to witness students from different grade levels connecting, building friendships, and strengthening their sense of community together. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our dedicated Student Council Members and Mrs. Champion for orchestrating such a memorable morning experience! 💙💛🏃 🏁

Hey there Knights! Mark your calendars for next Thursday, September 24th—our school is turning 91, and we're throwing a fantastic birthday bash! We will kick things off at 10 am when our Little Knights get their own special celebration complete with awesome music and dancing! Then at 1:30 pm, our Elementary School crew will head to the Multipurpose Room for photos and yummy cupcakes. Our Middle School students will join the fun at our main campus at 2:00 pm. Just a heads up: all students will wrap up and head home from the Elementary School Campus at 3:00 pm on Thursday, September 24th. And hey, Parent/Class Captains—we'd love to have you stop by and lend a hand! Just email your child's homeroom teacher if you are coming to help (no more than two per class please). Students, do not forget to wear your birthday hat! 💙💛🎩

Fall Day Camp - School is Closed on September 25 - Register Now!

On Friday, September 25th, Blessed Sacrament School teachers and staff will be participating in a Professional Development Day. As a result, there will be no classes for students that day. However, we are excited to offer a Day Camp for families in need of childcare. You can access the sign-up form using THIS LINK. We will also provide printed forms with your children. Please return the completed form to the office along with your payment (either cash or check, or let us know if you prefer to be billed through your FACTS account) by Monday, September 21st.

Eye Screening/Evaluación de la vista 👓👁️🧑‍⚕️

Two certified eye technicians with over 10 years of experience from the Cleveland Clinic will conduct vision screenings for students in grades K-8 on Monday, September 28th. 

This vision screening is NOT a comprehensive eye examination and does NOT diagnose eye diseases or vision disorders. It is a limited screening intended to identify students who may require further evaluation by an eye professional. A student may pass this screening and still have an eye or vision condition that requires diagnosis and treatment. 

Dos técnicos oculares certificados de la Cleveland Clinic, con más de 10 años de experiencia, realizarán evaluaciones de la vista a los estudiantes de los grados K a 8 el lunes 28 de septiembre. Esta evaluación de la vista NO es un examen ocular completo y NO diagnostica enfermedades oculares ni trastornos de la visión. Se trata de una evaluación limitada destinada a identificar a los estudiantes que podrían requerir una evaluación más exhaustiva por parte de un especialista en salud visual. Un estudiante puede superar esta evaluación y, aun así, presentar una afección ocular o visual que requiera diagnóstico y tratamiento.

Esperanza Festival 2026

Blessed Sacrament School invites you to the Esperanza Festival 2026! It will take place on Saturday, September 26, 2026, in Downtown Graham, NC, from 12:00 - 8:00 pm. This is a family-friendly event where everyone can enjoy music, food, dances, and tabled community resources for families. ¡No te lo pierdas!

The NC Opportunity Scholarship has opened for Fall Endorsement in your MyPortal. Once you receive the email notification, please make sure you endorse that your child is attending Blessed Sacrament School. Review your To Do List for any pending tasks you may have to do.

PE Uniforms:

You can still purchase PE uniforms locally at Graham Sporting Goods. They have yellow PE shirts, solid sweatpants, and zip-up jackets. You do NOT have to get the logo on the sweatpants, but it must be on the jacket and sweatshirt.

PE pants need to be solid navy. There should not be any lines down the sides or decals on them.
