Christmas Concert Success! | |
Last Tuesday, December 10th, at 6 pm, we all gathered at St. Mark's Community Church for our annual Christmas Concert & Eighth Grade Nativity! Our students did a wonderful job singing traditional Christmas songs, some of which were in Spanish as well! Thank you to the parents & grandparents who purchased a shout-out to our students and staff! We were able to fundraise over $200 to support the music program! 🎼🎶🎵🎤
We would like to give a special thanks to all of the teachers and staff who made this year's performances possible; especially to Mrs. Kennedy, Mrs. Spradlin & Mr. Cancro for preparing the students. They all did a wonderful job. 💐
If you would like to Bring the Magic Home, consider supporting our Music Program by purchasing a video recording via THIS LINK. You will receive a Christmas ornament made by our students in our SmartLabs to hang in your Christmas tree (we are also selling the ornaments at the school office for $5.00).
Thank you BSS Families for your constant support! 💙💛

Happy Birthday Fr. Vincent!
This morning, Friday, December 13th we celebrated mass with Fr. Vincent and he asked our students what they thought of what Heaven was like. We had very nice and interesting thoughts from our students. We would like to give special thanks to the students who led us in prayer, the altar boys, the students who read bible verses and petitions, and our student cantors. It was a nice mass and the last school mass of 2024.
At the end of the mass, our students gave Fr. Vincent birthday cards and we all sang Happy Birthday to him!

BSS Give Back Week-December 11th - 18th 📚
Each year, our school takes one week in December to give back to our community. We make sure each grade level has a special project and students are involved in every step of the project. Students make or assemble gifts and then deliver them to their recipients! We will transform our SmartLabs into Santa's Workshops for the month of December in order to create our gifts. Below is a list of activities each grade level will work on.

Elf on the Shelf
This morning, Friday, December 13th, our preschool class found Snowflake, the North Pole Elf! Since last week, Snowflake has been appearing in different parts of our elementary school to monitor all of our students' behavior and report back to Santa who has been naughty or nice. We have gotten reports from students finding Snowflake hiding in the Christmas tree, or Mrs. Miranda's office, and today, our preschool students found her by their door! Great job Knights, and remember, Snowflake is watching.
