Middle School

• Girls- A white top, black skirt, black shoes, and black tights. Optional: royal blue bow or other hair accessories.
• Boys- Plain white long-sleeved button-up (not school uniform shirt), black pants, black shoes, and royal blue bow tie.

We are also going to have Shout Outs announced between groups that evening! Wild About Animals by 2nd Grade!

Last Friday, May 9th, our 2nd grade class celebrated their Animal Day! The students researched animals and did art projects, posters, and slide shows. Then they presented their findings to our whole school community and their parents! Look at pictures of some of their very creative work. Middle School Athletic Banquet

We will hold our Annual Middle School Athletic Banquet next Wednesday, May 14th, from 6-7:30 pm at the gym. If your child played a sport this year and is in Middle School, then you are welcome to come!

8th Grade Class goes to Amish Country

Our 8th-grade students went on their middle school field trip to Pennsylvania and visited Amish Country, Hershey Park, and the Monticello (home of the 3rd US President). It was a trip to remember!

Summer Camp is now Open for Registration!

Campers will do a myriad of activities based on the week’s theme. Going beyond just arts and crafts, children will be able to get hands-on experience with various animals, as well as do a deep dive into their differing environments. Knights of Summer X-STREAM Adventures is available for children aged 3- rising 8th grade. Before and after camp care will be available.

The camp will run from June 9 - July 25, 2025. The camp will close for a week from June 30th to July 4th.

Congratulations to the BSS Golf Team! They were undefeated and won the Golf Tournament on Wednesday, May 7th! They are the champs! They earned a free out-of-uniform for Monday, May 12. Thank you very much to Coach Johnson & Coach Monahan for guiding our students this season! 💙💛

2025-2026 Tuition Rates Published!

Dear BSS Families,

Please review the 2025-2026 Tuition Rates for the upcoming school year! We have only increased the K-8 Tuition. The Little Knights's tuition, enrollment fee, and STEAMM Fees will remain the same. If you believe that your family will need a scholarship, please apply for an NC Opportunity Scholarship, which will open applications for new families from February 6th to March 6th, 2025. Middle School Field Trips!

Summer Uniforms

Friendly reminder, we will be transitioning to Summer Uniforms on April 7th, 2025!

Winter uniforms begin next Monday, November 4th. Just a few reminders:

1. French Toast items run very differently in sizing from Lands End. Sounds like the tops are much smaller.
2. Review our Uniform Guidelines by CLICKING HERE.
3. If you order any logo items and they are the wrong size, they CANNOT be returned.
4. Orders are arriving in about a week. So if you need new shirts, you should order them as soon as possible to receive them in time.
5. Graham Sporting Goods is the ONLY provider of PE shirts. French Toast will not be offering them.

PE Uniforms:

You can still purchase PE uniforms locally at Graham Sporting Goods. They have yellow PE shirts, solid sweatpants, and zip-up jackets. You do NOT have to get the logo on the sweatpants, but it must be on the jacket and sweatshirt.

PE pants need to be solid navy. There should not be any lines down the sides or decals on them.
