NJHS Christmas Cheer


The NJHS would like to give a huge THANK YOU to our Blessed Sacrament family! Your generosity has overwhelmed us. Thank you to everyone who donated gifts and to all who supported our bake sale. With your help we were able to provide many, many gifts as well as gift cards to our two families. The Christmas spirit is alive and well at BSS!

NJHS Rings the Bell!


Our National Junior Honor Society chose to support the Salvation Army again this year by ringing the bell at Lowe’s Foods in Burlington. Students braved the cold to spread Christmas cheer and raise money for a good cause!

Congratulations, Vickery Family!


Last Wednesday, December 17th, BSS teachers and staff celebrated a baby shower for Mr. Vickery, our 3rd-grade teacher, and his family as they recently welcomed a baby girl! Congratulations!

Advent Traditions - 5th Grade Religion Project


Last Wednesday, December 17th, Mrs. Lee's 5th-grade Religion students presented their Advent Religion Projects, and they celebrated with typical homemade foods from their family's Christmas traditions. Thank you to the parents who cooked a meal for this event, as we had delicious pupusas, pozole verde, empanadas, chicken and dumplings, and many desserts!

Lee presentó sus proyectos de Adviento y lo celebraron con platillos caseros típicos de las tradiciones navideñas de sus familias. Agradecemos a los padres que prepararon la comida para este evento; disfrutamos de deliciosas pupusas, pozole verde, empanadas, pollo con albóndigas y muchos postres.

BSS Gives Back-Christmas Time



This week, our BSS Students made goody bags and ornaments to spread the BSS Christmas Cheer to all of our neighbors around our school campus. See pictures below of the students going door to door giving them out.

Snapology!


Blessed Sacrament School is collaborating with Snapology, a STEM program located in Burlington, NC, which provides classes in robotics and technology, to enhance our STEAMM program even more. This week, they came over to do more STEM workshops for our students!

2nd Grade-Christmas Carols


This week, our 2nd-grade students went over the two campuses singing Christmas Carols to the BSS staff, teachers, and even to Mrs. Gomez. We heard traditional songs like Little Snowflake, Feliz Navidad, and Go Tell It on the Mountain! Well done, Knights!

Kindergarten Science Experiment


This week, Mrs. Glenn's Kindergarten Science students had a Science Experiment with Christmas-related items like cookies, candy canes, and gummies.

Blessed Sacrament School is a member of PECSAA (Piedmont Elementary Catholic School Athletic Association). For most sports, students from 5th-8th grade are eligible to participate.  

 Track is open to K-8th grade. 


Sports offered at Blessed Sacrament School:

Fall: Tennis (co-ed, 6th-8th), Volleyball (co-ed, 5th-8th), Boys Soccer (5th-8th), Running Club (co-ed K-4th), Cross Country (co-ed 5th-8th)

***All athletes must have their "Athletic Permission and Emergency form for 2025-2026" and the "Athletic Physical Form" completed at the time of their first tryout/practice or they WILL NOT be able to participate. No exceptions.***

Middle School Fieldtrips 2026!

  • Our 8th-grade students will have an opportunity to travel to Lancaster and Hershey, PA, which will take place on May 7-9, 2026. CLICK HERE to access the draft itinerary for the 8th-grade trip.
  • Our 6th & 7th grade students will have an opportunity to travel to Williamsburg, VA, which will take place on May 18-19, 2026. CLICK HERE to access the draft itinerary for the 6th & 7th grade trip.


You should have received a copy in your yellow folder communicator, or look below for a form to fill out and return to your child's homeroom teacher:

PE Uniforms:


You can still purchase PE uniforms locally at Graham Sporting Goods. They have yellow PE shirts, solid sweatpants, and zip-up jackets. You do NOT have to get the logo on the sweatpants, but it must be on the jacket and sweatshirt.


PE pants need to be solid navy. There should not be any lines down the sides or decals on them.
