The Lewis Award, honoring Catholic school educators in the diocese, was initiated in 1992 in his honor. BSS Give Back Week-December 11th - 18th
Each year, our school takes one week in December to give back to our community. We make sure each grade level has a special project and students are involved in every step of the project. Students make or assemble gifts and then deliver them to their recipients! We will transform our SmartLabs into Santa's Workshops for the month of December in order to create our gifts. Below are pictures of students delivering the gifts to our neighbors.

Opportunity Scholarships for Families who were waitlisted
BSS families who applied for an NC Opportunity Scholarship last February for the first time, and were waitlisted for falling into Tier 2, 3 & 4, were just offered a scholarship, as the NCGA just passed a law (HB10) and released extra funding for those families! If you are one of those families, you must accept the scholarship by December 27. Blessed Sacrament School will start the certification for retroactive Fall award endorsements on January 6th. We will reach you if BSS will be owing you a refund for tuition payments already made.
Contact Mr. Rico if you have questions about this process.

You can still purchase PE uniforms locally at Graham Sporting Goods. They have yellow PE shirts, solid sweatpants, and zip-up jackets. You do NOT have to get the logo on the sweatpants, but it must be on the jacket and sweatshirt.
PE pants need to be solid navy. There should not be any lines down the sides or decals on them.
Let me know if you have any Winter Uniform questions!
