Happy Birthday BSS! 🍨🎂🍭🎉🎊🎈

On Thursday, September 26th, we celebrated our school's 90th birthday party! We started the celebrations at 10 am with the Little Knights having their own birthday party, complete with music and dance! Then, at 1:30 pm, we had our Elementary School students join in the Multipurpose Room for their picture and cupcakes, followed by Middle School students arriving at our main campus at 2:00 pm. It was a wonderful Out-of-Uniform Day. Paul's Pastry Shop catered the cupcakes, and students, faculty & staff wore a birthday hat for the celebration! We want to thank the parent volunteers and staff who made the celebration possible💙💛

El jueves 26 de septiembre celebramos el 90.º aniversario de nuestra escuela. Comenzamos las celebraciones a las 10:00 a. m. con la fiesta de cumpleaños de los Pequeños Caballeros, ¡con música y baile incluidos! Luego, a la 1:30 p. m., nuestros alumnos de Primaria se reunieron en el Salón Multiusos para tomarse una foto y disfrutar de pastelitos, seguidos por los alumnos de Secundaria que llegaron a nuestro campus principal a las 2:00 p. m. Fue un maravilloso Día sin Uniforme. Paul's Pastry Shop preparó los pastelitos, y los alumnos, profesores y personal lucieron un sombrero de cumpleaños para la celebración. Queremos agradecer a los padres voluntarios y al personal que hicieron posible la celebración.💙💛

On Friday, September 26th, we surprised Mrs. Rubi, one of our kindergarten teachers, with a Baby Shower! Her husband, Mr. Daniel Flores, and their children Andrea (3) & Aiden (7) were also in attendance to the celebration. We pray for the new little one. May he or she grows up healthy and happy. From all of us here at Blessed Sacrament School, congratulations Flores Family! 💙💛

New Middle School Traffic Pattern

At last, our middle school campus front parking lot is complete, and now we can start receiving and dismissing students through there. You will use the entrance located on Davis St. and Maple Ave. Follow the arrows to the front door. We will begin picking up your child at the front on Monday, September 29. You can also drop off lunch at the front door. Label your child’s lunch and leave it on the table. Please ring the bell so we know that the lunch has been dropped off. 

Dismissal- Drivers will need to wait on West Davis St. You will come in the driveway and go either left or right. You will exit, turning only right on West Davis. All drivers must remain in their cars. Please use the name tags provided by BSS when picking up your child. Please do not park and pick up your child. Students not picked up by the end of carpool (approximately 3:15 PM) may be sent to the After School Care Program, and will be charged accordingly for using this program. For the safety of the students/teachers, do not talk or text on your cell phone while in the carpool line.

Los estudiantes que no sean recogidos al final del viaje compartido (aproximadamente a las 3:15 p. m.) podrían ser enviados al Programa de Cuidado Extraescolar y se les cobrará el costo correspondiente. Blessing of the Animals🐶🐱🐴🐁🐤🐟🐛🐝

Mark your calendars, as next Friday, October 3rd, we will hold our annual Blessing of the Animals right at 8 a.m. at the Main Campus. All of our students are to be dropped off at the Main Campus (515 Hillcrest Ave), and all families are welcome to bring their pets for a special blessing by Fr. Vincent.

Please bring supplies to clean up after your pets.

Esperanza Festival 2025

Blessed Sacrament School invites you to the Esperanza Festival 2025! It will take place on Sunday, September 28, 2025, in Downtown Graham, NC, from 12:00 - 8:00 pm. This is a family-friendly event where everyone can enjoy music, food, dances, and tabled community resources for families. ¡No te lo pierdas! 

Farewell, Fr. Briant!

Last Thursday, September 25th, Blessed Sacrament Church Community celebrated the Mass of Christian Burial of Fr. Briant Cullinane, who was a pastor of our parish some years ago. Fr. Bob Benko did a very moving and nostalgic homily on the life of Fr. Briant. Farewell, Fr. Briant, and thank you for everything you did for our communities and the blessings you gave to all of us who knew you. 🕊️

Blessed Sacrament School is a member of PECSAA (Piedmont Elementary Catholic School Athletic Association). For most sports, students from 5th-8th grade are eligible to participate.  

 Track is open to K-8th grade.

***All athletes must have their "Athletic Permission and Emergency form for 2025-2026" and the "Athletic Physical Form" completed at the time of their first tryout/practice or they WILL NOT be able to participate. No exceptions.***

Day Camp(s) Sign Ups!

We will have three Day Camps this school year when school is out. You can use the following form to sign your children up for Day Camp on September 26, November 24, and November 25, 2025. The price is $40.00 per camper per day.

You can pay online or use the "Pay by Check Option" if you would rather pay in cash/check in person at the main office.

Fall Ballet at BSS/Clases de Ballet este Otoño en BSS

Once again, Miss Jenny and her Le Petit Ballet Co. are coming back to Blessed Sacrament School for after-school ballet dance classes. The 12-week ballet sessions will begin on September 17th and are open to all students, ages PreK through 2nd grade, for both girls and boys. Students who register can stay for free in our after-school care program until their ballet classes begin right at 3:00 - 3:45 pm.

Una vez más, la Srta. Jenny y su compañía de ballet Le Petit Ballet regresan a la Escuela Santísimo Sacramento para clases de ballet extraescolares. Las sesiones de ballet de 12 semanas comenzarán el 17 de septiembre y están abiertas a todos los estudiantes, desde preescolar hasta segundo grado, tanto para niñas como para niños. Los estudiantes que se apunten podrán quedarse en el afterschool care gratis! La clase corre de 3:00-3:45pm los miércoles.

PE Uniforms:

You can still purchase PE uniforms locally at Graham Sporting Goods. They have yellow PE shirts, solid sweatpants, and zip-up jackets. You do NOT have to get the logo on the sweatpants, but it must be on the jacket and sweatshirt.

PE pants need to be solid navy. There should not be any lines down the sides or decals on them.
