Trainings, Events and Collaborations with MS Advocacy Organizations

MSCCD and MSPTI staff participated in Southern Poverty Law Center’s Children’s Rights Special Education Advocacy Coalition's two-day training in the Delta on March 5 and 6. We’re excited about future plans and grateful to be part of this coalition of advocacy organizations, as we empower families with information and work diligently to protect the rights of students with disabilities in Mississippi.

MSPTI Project Director, Leslie Junkin and Parent Educator, Jennifer Johnson participated in two days of training on March 5th and 6th. The trainings were held in Indianola and Greenville.
