Validation

Connect the Administrator/Director to the Classrooms Tab

Did you know that the Administrator/Director section of the Classroom Tab provides information that Validators use for both qualification and professional development indicators? In order for the Administrator/Director qualifications to be pulled into the Self-Reflection Qualification Report used for Validation, the Administrator/Director MUST be listed in the Classroom Tab in the program's Organization Profile in MiRegistry. If the person serving as the Administrator/Director is not listed in the Classroom Tab, Validators will not be able to select Currently Meeting for the Administrator/Director qualification indicator (SQ1) and the professional development indicators.

If you have questions, please contact validation@ecic4kids.org

On-Site Observation Tips

Exploring Fall Together

Fall is a fun time for children to explore! They can see colorful leaves, feel the cool air, and hear the crunch of leaves under their feet. Even the youngest children enjoy noticing these changes.

Bring a little bit of fall into your classroom or care space. Set up a small basket with nature items like leaves, pinecones, or small pumpkins for children to touch and explore. Add fall colors to your art table with crayons or paper in shades of red, yellow and orange. Read books about fall and talk about what you see outside.

You might say, “This leaf is bumpy,” or “The pumpkin feels smooth.” These simple moments build language, curiosity, and warm connections between teachers and children, all important parts of CLASS and ERS.

Take time to explore the season together and enjoy the wonder of fall!
