We are once again using BetterWorld, an interconnected web-based fundraising platform. BetterWorld takes data and security very seriously. All of their pages are secured and encrypted, and they never sell any data to third-party vendors.

To get started, follow the easy prompts to create a registration with a credit card or debit card to start bidding. Your card will not be charged unless you are the winning bidder on an item(s) and at close out you will have the option of using a different card to pay for your winnings. Make sure to sign up for the automatic email or text alerts if someone outbids you. This allows you to stay on top of those items you really, really want without having to constantly check in!
We’re doing shipping differently this year. To streamline the payment and shipping processes, we will be covering the shipping costs this time around (sorry—US only since international postage is super expensive). This way we can get your items in the mail in plenty of time for the holidays! During checkout for any winnings, you can choose to add a bit extra to help cover shipping, but it is your choice, and we will not be sending a separate invoice for postage.

NOVEMBER IS ADOPT A SENIOR PET MONTH!
November is National Adopt a Senior Pet Month! Did you know that Stella & Chewy's will donate up to $200 of your adoption fee this month if you adopt a pet over 5 years of age? We have a few great seniors (and several who we wouldn't call "seniors" but who are still old enough to qualify for the Stella & Chewy's reimbursement!) awaiting their furever homes and who have been with us for a while. These wonderful dogs would love to be with their new families in time for the holidays! You can find out more about these special seniors and all of our other adoptable dogs on our website, www.WAMAL.com!

We would love a foster for May in particular. Her coat is still growing back after a shave for mats, and we'd like her to have a warm home in which to spend the cold winter!

OUR WEBSITE HAS A NEW LOOK!
Here at WAMAL, we are always looking for better ways to get the word out about our adoptable rescue dogs and our mission. So, we are in the process of evolving our website technology. As progress continues, we hope our new website will be easier to navigate across all platforms from desktop to mobile, and will provide behind-the-scenes improvements in data management that will help our volunteers more efficiently work with adopters and fosters!
